Gold Star 2005
Beginning in 1998 Units of the Cornhusker Council had the opportunity to become a Gold Star Unit. Gold Star Units are those units achieving 100% or more of their 2005 family Friends of Scouting campaign goal. Goals are based on the cost of sustaining one scout in the Cornhusker Council for one year and asking the unit to raise 25% for each scout in the unit. Those gold star units will receive some special benefits by supporting the Cornhusker council family Friends of Scouts Campaign.
